Command Center
This central structure automatically transfers resources to and from resource mines, buildings, vehicles, and construction sites that exist within the Command Center's Control Area (represented by a wide green circle).
Automatically stores Iron and Fuel from Mines within this Control Area.
Power Plants built close to the Command Center also distribute available power throughout the whole Command Center Control Area.
** Does not require Power **
When a Command Center is selected, you will see a wide green circle surrounding a large amount of nearby land. This circle represents the Command Center Control Area.
Within this area, the myriad necessary transfers of resources to and from Iron and Oil mines, resource storage, Power Plants, construction projects, etc., are all handled automatically. This functionality makes Command Centers critical to a functioning, independent base.
A Command Center's supply of stored Iron and Fuel is automatically distributed to construction projects, factory production, and vehicles needing fuel. Likewise, Iron Mines and Oil Refineries within the Control Area automatically transfer their mined resources into the Command Center's storage (Command Center storage is displayed at the upper left of your screen when your 3D view is close to your Command Center).
Outside this area, resources must be transferred to needy buildings and vehicles manually using a Transport vehicle, or other means.
Power Plants
Power Plants built outside a Command Center Control Area will supply Power to buildings within a shorter distance (also displayed by a green circle surrounding the Power Plant itself). Again, Power Plants require a steady supply of Fuel, so if you build one outside a Command Center Control Area, it must either be built adjacent to an Oil Refinery, or have Fuel regularly supplied by a Transport vehicle.
Power Plants burn Fuel to produce Power, and this Power is required by most of the buildings in the game. The plants cannot draw Oil from the ground, however, so the resource must first be mined using an Oil Refinery.
Once the Oil is mined and refined (which happens at the same time), it is then Fuel and will be automatically delivered to the Power Plant assuming the plant is within a Command Center Control Area, or when a Power Plant is close to an Oil Refinery. If a Power Plant is neither within a Command Center Control Area or near an Oil Refinery, Fuel must be delivered manually using a Transport vehicle (usually by setting up a Supply Line - see Supply Lines in the Complex Commands help page).
Defense Cannon
Stationary combat defense structure.
Four medium range 105mm cannons.
Requires Power
Factory
Production structure, uses Iron to produce land based vehicles.
Progress made in Research structure enables production of more advanced vehicles (see Research on this page).
Within a Command Center Control Area, the Factory will automatically draw Iron from Command Center storage. Otherwise, Iron must be transferred manually using a Transport vehicle (or other means).
** Requires Power **
Gate
Reinforced Iron entry point along Wall.
Can only be built in a one-unit, non-diagonal space between two sections of Wall.
** Does not require Power **
Hangar
Production structure, uses Iron to produce airborne vehicles.
Progress made in Research structure enables production of more advanced vehicles (see Research on this page).
Within a Command Center Control Area, the Hangar will automatically draw Iron from Command Center storage. Otherwise, Iron must be supplied manually using a Transport vehicle (or other means).
** Requires Power **
Iron Mine
Built only on Iron Deposits, draws Iron out of the ground and can store up to 1,000 units of Iron.
Within a Command Center's Control Area, Iron Mines will automatically transfer Iron into Command Center storage.
Outside a Command Center's Control Area, mined Iron can only be accessed by adjacent buildings, manual transfers or as part of a Supply Line.
** Does not require Power **
Oil Refinery
Built only on Oil Deposits, draws Oil out of the ground and processes it into usable Fuel.
Capable of storing up to 1,000 units of Fuel.
If within a Command Center's Control Area, the Oil Refinery will automatically transfer Fuel into Command Center storage (to be used by other structures within the Command Center's Control Area).
Otherwise, vehicles and structures requiring Fuel must be within the Oil Refinery's own small Control Area, or Fuel must be removed and transferred manually using a Transport vehicle (or other means).
** Does not require Power **
Research
Uses Iron and Fuel to complete research projects which augment various elements within your base with advanced weapons, new techniques, and new capabilities.
Within a Command Center Control Area, the Research structure will automatically draw Iron and Fuel from Command Center storage. Otherwise, Iron and Fuel must be supplied manually using a Transport vehicle (or other means).
** Requires Power **
Shipyard
Production structure built only on shorelines, uses Iron to produce naval vehicles.
Progress made in Research structure enables production of more advanced vehicles (see Research on this page).
Within a Command Center Control Area, the Shipyard will automatically draw Iron from Command Center storage. Otherwise, Iron must be transferred manually using a Transport vehicle (or other means).
** Requires Power **
Wall
Reinforced defense bulwark able to withstand heavy fire from multiple vehicles for several minutes.
In order to traverse Walls, Gates must be built into them.
** Does not require Power **
